Another gift presented students to the 20th anniversary of the school
On March 18, Vladimir city took the Russian Cup JKS Karate (Japan Karate Shoto Federation) in the National Karate Association. More than 370 participants from 19 teams and 17 cities, women and men, children and adults from all over Russia fought for the right to become the best in the kata and kumite.
Team of Chelyabinsk region was represented by athletes of Traditional karate sports school , which on March 12 celebrated its 20th anniversary. Five athletes have won two gold and four silver medals.
Gold medal in kumite won Astrakhantsev Igor. In his 15 years, he is 5-time winner of the European championship and a 3-time winner of the World Cup. He also won the silver medal in kata boys 14-15.
In the individual kata men Nedbaylo Sergey won a silver medal.In final he lost with tie-score to European champion Sergey Abolenskiy.
Kata champion and silver medalist in kumite female was silver medalist at the 2011 European Parshukova Eugenia.
More successful than the previous week, made Hamatdinov Artem, in kata boys 16-17, having qualifying round, in the final, had not enough strength to win.
Championship preceded a 2-day training course, conducted by Chief Instructor of the International Department of Japanese Karate Federation JKS, Takashi Yamaguchi, 6th Dan, five-time Japan Open kata and kumite. Also, Anis Al Safar, 5th dan.
In an interview with our correspondent Takashi Yamaguchi, expressed confidence that, despite the victory of Russian athletes at international championships, Japanese athletes will long retain the championship banner in karate by highly professional personnel and public policy for the development of Japan's national sport. A headquarters is and will remain a "trendsetter" in its development.
Winners in the near future to take part in international competitions : the European Championships in Prague and the European Championship in Paris.
